Shelley Courtney is a seasoned marketing professional with over 25 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry. She possesses a strong background in Digital Strategy, Media Planning, Media Buying, Management, Direct Marketing, and Business Development.

As the owner of The Media Den, a marketing consulting and media buying firm she founded in 2007, Shelley manages an annual advertising spend of $3.5 to $5+ million for multiple national brands. She oversees comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies, including cost estimation, media segmentation planning, execution timing, media purchasing, results analysis, and production schedule adjustments. Her esteemed clients include Fox Restaurant Concepts, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, Thompson Hospitality Group, Sol Flower Dispensaries, The Thompson 105, and Jacob Gold and Associates.

Prior to establishing The Media Den, Shelley served as the Marketing Director for P.F. Chang’s China Bistro from 1997 to 2007. In this role, she led the marketing department, overseeing all facets of national and local marketing, advertising, promotions, menu design, website management, gift card sales, restaurant openings, annual report designs, and collaborations with creative and production agencies. She successfully developed and implemented marketing initiatives aimed at maximizing outreach, brand awareness, trial, and sales for a growing network of 162 Bistro locations, 15 Pei Wei Asian Diner locations, and one upscale Japanese concept, consistently meeting company needs and achieving profit goals.

Shelley served on the Board of Directors for the Marketing Executives Group of the National Restaurant Association from 2002 to 2007 and is a proud graduate of Arizona State University.
